Registration and Tuition

Non-Discriminatory Policy: St. Catherine of Bologna School admits students of any race, creed, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded and made available to students at the school.

Registration is held in early spring.  Date and time to be announced.  Birth and Baptismal certificates are required, as well as proof of immunization at initial registration.  A non-refundable registration fee of $100.00 per student (new students only /non-refundable) is required at initial registration.  Immunizations and physical examination must be completed before the student can enter school in September.  All children must be up to date with their immunizations.

Transfers: If you are transferring your child, notify the school at least two weeks prior to the date of the transfer.  At that time, please advise us of the last day your child will be attending school and the name of the school to which he is being transferred.  On the last day, please come to the school office for the official Transfer.  Records will be forwarded directly to the receiving school upon their request.

For the 2007-2008 school year tuition is as follows:

  Pre-School

(3 year olds)

All children must be toilet trained & 3 years old by October 1.  

OPTION 1

A three-hour 5-day morning class from 9:00 a.m. to 12: noon on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.   Morning Extended Day beginning at 7:00 a.m. is available at an additional cost. 

 Cost: $270.00/month - 2700/year

OPTION 2

A three-hour 3-day morning class from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  Morning Extended Day beginning at 7:00 a.m. is available at an additional cost. 

     Cost: $162.00/month- $1620/year.

OPTION 3

A full-day 5-day program Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30p.m.

           Cost: $540.00/month - $5400/year.

OPTION 4

A full-day 3-day program Tuesday, Wednesday,   and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.  

 Cost: $324.00/month-$3240/year

 

Full-day students (Option 3 and Option 4) may use both morning and afternoon Extended Day at an additional cost.

Pre-Kindergarten

  ( 4 year olds)

Must be 4 years old by October 1

OPTION 1

Cost: $162.00/month -$5400/year.

OPTION 3

A full-day 5-day program Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Cost: $540.00/month - $5400.00/year.

OPTION 4

A full-day 3-day program Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Cost: $324.00/month - $3240.00/year.

Full-day students (Option 3 and Option 4) may use both morning and afternoon extended day.

School Fees: $75.00

H.S.A. Dues:  $200.00 or purchase of $4000.00 in Grocery Dollars and/or Gift Certificates.

Service Hours: Ten hours of service per year in a variety of areas is required.  "Protecting God's Children" program must be completed if working with children in any capacity

              

The recommended tuition for Grades K through 8 for the 2007-2008 school year is $3600 per student for contributing parishioners and $4400 per student for non-parishioners. There is a tuition processing fee of $3.00 and payments begin in the month of July.   Financial assistance is available with consultation and approval from the Administration and Education Council.  Documents, e.g. current tax return, may be required.  A payment plan is offered: a one-time payment, 4 equal payments or 12 equal payments.  Families are required to:

  • sign a Service Contract pledging to give a minimum of 25 hours service to school or parish related activities.  Hours not completed are subject to a  $10.00 per incomplete hour surcharge;
  • purchase $4000.00 worth of Grocery Dollars or pay $200.00 to assist  the H.S.A. in raising money to assist the school.  Accounts not complete by May 31 are required to pay the remaining balance;
  • agree in the annual tuition contract to make a minimum weekly donation to St. Catherine of Bologna Church (parishioners);
  • sign a Tuition Contract annually;
  • pay all tuition and fees on time. A $25.00 late fee will be added to payments made after the 10th of the month. Services may be withheld for accounts three (3) months in arrears.  An annual tuition interview may be required.
  •  Computer fee:  $100.00 each for the first two students; $60.00 each additional student (payable by June 15, 2007).
  •  Activities Fee Grade K-8: $125.00 for each student due July 15, 2007.  This includes: materials fee, class activity fee, insurance fee, and testing/portfolio fee.
